About the Role

As an Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be the trusted expert customers rely on for fast, accurate replacement engine solutions. From identifying the right product to coordinating fulfillment with internal teams, you’ll manage the full sales cycle with a focus on urgency, technical precision, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a sales professional with strong mechanical knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced, solution-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the go-to contact for replacement engine sales
  • Recommend engine solutions tailored to dealers, fleets, and end users
  • Utilize available stock and advise on any modifications needed
  • Work closely with production and service teams to ensure quick turnarounds
  • Quote accurately, process orders, and follow up with urgency
  • Maintain CRM records (Salesforce) and track sales activity
  • Align sales efforts with inventory and production capacity
  • Contribute to team sales goals through proactive, solution-based selling
  • Stay informed on product specs and industry developments
  • Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and provide customer feedback

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in inside/outside sales—preferably engines, heavy equipment, or industrial aftermarket
  • Strong technical knowledge of engines and mechanical systems
  • Proven success building long-term customer relationships
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities, overcome objections, and close deals
  • Proficiency in ERP (Epicor, SAP, P21) and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or engineering a plus
